TV GUIDE: Mork & Mindy

12x8 oil on panel, black floater frame

The break-out role of Mork, was the perfect vehicle for the hilarious and incredibly talented Robin Williams. The show "Mork & Mindy" was another "Happy Days" spin-off which I would highly encourage Gen Zer's to watch. Preferably after popping a gummy, if you're so inclined. But only if you're 21 and in a state that has legalized recreational marijuana.

Public Service Announcement: Never trust street gummies. You don't want to get so high and paranoid your friends find you hiding in a pillow fort hoarding Doritos and Snickers bars. The more you know …

I always enjoyed the end of each episode, when Mork would call his superior on the planet Ork, and report on what he had learned about Earthlings. These were usually humorous observations that poked fun at the absurdities of human behavior, customs and culture. He made us think while also making us laugh. Na-nu, na-nu and RIP, Mr. Williams. You are sorely missed.
