Serenade of Sun and Sand.

Have you felt nature's quiet melody?

Nature truly feels like a musical composition, something I've appreciated even more while creating the December Collectibles this year. Each piece is inspired by stories from reference travel photos, reflecting the beauty and simplicity I've encountered throughout my life experiences.

Uncluttered beaches, where no buildings are in sight, are like a serenade--gentle, soothing, lulling us with their quiet sounds. The soft curves and flowing lines have a calming rhythm, almost like a lullaby. 

Then, the calls of gulls and the graceful sway of reeds add texture and dynamic, like unexpected notes in a song, bringing the scene to life. In these moments, nature's music feels most alive, connecting us to its harmony and beauty. 

In the music classroom, one of the activities I had children do was to read an excerpt like this one and create their own musical ideas to convey the experience. Hearing what they created and the depth of their results was also genuinely inspiring.
