Haven
High in the arms of the old maple in the yard
a sweet little bird flutters back and forth, her feathers ruffled by both excitement and purpose
She carries in her beak the tiniest twig.
Creating a home isn't just about weaving branches and leaves together; it's about creating something snug enough for your little ones, something that will cradle them safely from the wind's harsh breath and the cold night's chill.
Weaving it all together with love and encouragement
Together making a place that isn't just shelter but also a sanctuary- a place where the tiniest chirps would be met with warmth, where sleep would be safe, where even storms could only whisper at the edges.
It will never be perfect. There will always be gaps to fill and little adjustments to make, but hopefully they think it will always be more than enough.
It will be a haven full of love and warmth and compassion
It will be a haven; one where you will always be welcomed
It is the haven where you can rest assured knowing that you are always more than enough.
