Merry and Bright

Welcome to Day one of the 25 Days of Minis (DOM). I am so excited you are here to enjoy the holidays with us.

Here is how it all works. Beginning today through December 25th all the 25DOM artists will reveal a new painting for sale each evening at 10 p.m. MST.

I will be sending a daily email to you sharing stories about my art, recipes, tasty holiday cocktails, and some fun DIY projects.

Today's painting 'Merry and Bright' is inspired by my favorite holiday flower. I look forward to having beautiful red poinsettias in my home for the holidays.

FYI - The Poinsettia is a tropical rain forest plant that only grows in the wild in Central America and southern Mexico where the climate is very hot. When in their natural environment, these plants can grow up to 15 feet tall. With over 100 varieties, what many call the flowers of the Poinsettia are found in red, pink, white, burgundy, and a mix of those colors.
