Whitetail Yearling

I never tire of seeing deer grazing quietly in a field.  It's usually early morning near dawn or later in the day at dusk.  It's very peaceful!  They seem so unaware and casual, like they were without a care in the world.  That said, they are generally keenly aware of their surroundings and will react to any small movement or noise. This mini shows a young one-year old doe, standing in a field, who took a quick moment to look around and make sure all is well.
