| This is another mini and the last in this year's collection inspired by the animal seen on a recent trip to Africa. This female was one of 24 lions in the Topi Pride in the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. Of course, like most cats, lions like to sleep for many hours. In this painting, I tried to capture that short moment as this lioness woke up to look around, just before she closed her eyes, lay back down and doze back off to sleep. |
