The Waltz

I was always a very shy kid. Speaking to boys was hard for me, and it wasn't so much that I'd get tongue tied. No, I used to act very silly. Objectively speaking, I would puff up my proverbial chest all in an effort to seem cool and hide my shyness. As a result, it made dancing with a boy very hard. But that didn't matter, because I loved watching two people dance together. I loved watching them communicate with each other through dance. In this little painting of a couple dancing the waltz, I wish I could get a peek into their world.
