Snow Cat
Snow Cat is a play of colors showing the excellent camouflage of a snow leopard against dancing shadows and lights of rocky terrain. This oil on wood painting measures 6" x 12" x 1.5" deep. The sides are painted a complimentary color pulled from the painting. It is wired to hang on a wall or can sit on a shelf. This mini comes wrapped and ready for holiday gifting to a special someone or to add to your own art collection!
Snow leopards live in the high mountains of central and northern Asia, including the Himalayas, the Tibetan Plateau, China, and Russia. They live in high alpine areas, mostly above the tree line and up to 18,000 feet in elevation. Snow leopards are very shy, and their coloring makes them difficult to see against the snowy, rocky environment they live in. Snow leopards are known as the "ghost of the mountains" because of their elusive nature.
