Saturday In The Park

We used to live down the street from a park. 

It had a giant metal slide, swings, the merry go round that you would hold on to and run as fast as you could before you jumped on to catch the ride, and those metal animals with the giant coil that was cemented into the ground. 

You could hop on a sea horse, skunk, or snail and grab the handles and ride! It was surrounded by tall, beautiful trees, benches and loud songbirds. 

I know most of the equipment has been deemed dangerous now, but it was all we knew, and it was perfect.
