Permeate

Coming across a sandy cove after a rough and tumble hike really felt like a discovered treasure. The sand was soft and empty of visitors, although telltale footprints described a playful afternoon. Just as the sun was ready to head off for the night, intensely warm light flooded the sand, the surrounding rocks and my tired muscles. A solar bath to permeate the layers.
This paper collage piece is made from my own handprinted papers; layers of texture and colour create an impressionistic landscape.
