Pasture's Edge
At the meeting place of agriculture and natural preserve, there's a delicate balance to be navigated. The wide open space of the productive field ends with the nourishing enclave of species protection in the woodlot. Like a crazy quilt of patchwork we have to keep mending the stitches to hold it all together.
This paper collage piece is made from my own handprinted papers; layers of texture and colour create an impressionistic landscape.
