This Canadian fjord has cousins in the USA! The stately cliffs of Western Brook Pond Newfoundland are actually the most northern section of the Appalachian Mountain Ridge. They wear their glacial heritage with pride, making a dramatic display of light and shadow to accentuate the shapes formed so many centuries ago.
This paper collage piece is made from my own handprinted papers; layers of texture and colour create an impressionistic landscape.
