Naughty or Nice?

If you have ever ridden a school bus you know that naughty and nice lists are MADE on this vehicle.

The "nice" kids huddled in the front - looking forward, trying not to get noticed by some of the rowdier gang. The "naughty" kids tended to claim the back rows of seats where whispers and plans for shenanigans were made. Then, there were the middle rows where you really just hoped to not get caught in the fray.

I loved creating a vibrant, whimsical school bus with a festive touch. It was a mini walk down memory lane.

Original artwork is created in the contemporary, painterly style of Misty Maynard, using alcohol ink techniques.

Every piece of art that gets shown to my collectors has been looked at from a million angles, and finally….after obsessive amounts of introspection….approved, by me, to go out into the world.

I strive to saturate my artwork with a vibrancy that can be seen from anywhere in the room. I create artwork that is bright, and bold, and fragile - just like me, and maybe just like you.
