This lioness from Botswana was resting in the Kalahari Desert during the daytime heat. As the temperature goes down with the sun she will go out to hunt. Lions have exceptional night vision allowing them to hunt in the dark and see their prey with great accuracy. They see 6-8 times better than humans in low light conditions.
