Frozen Passage
A range of mountains rises straight up from the shore, the winter sun intensified in reflection off the frozen river. No movement that I can see, no way to traverse through or around this passage. Maybe the opportunity lies simply in observation, appreciation for the grand display and acceptance of stillness.
This paper collage piece is made from my own handprinted papers, layers of texture and colour create an impressionistic landscape.
