Flow

I am thrilled to be using elements from nature, like leaves, grasses, and flowers to create beautiful one-of-a-kind prints. I create a composition on a specially coated watercolor paper and expose it to the sun which over time develops the print. Flow is that special period of time when I am present in the moment. A visitor to my studio, recently asked how I don't get distracted when creating my art. I shared with her that when I am creating, I lose myself in the process and everything else fades into the background. When I am doing what I love, immersing myself in color, shapes, composition, and texture, in that moment nothing else matters and I am in flow. It is a wonderful way to let go of anything that is bothering me for that moment.
