Do you remember your first time flying, looking down from the sky?

The view was astonishing—the land divided by rows of trees in geometric shapes. Then, the flat shapes of the Western U.S. appeared—squares, rectangles, even pentagons, as if drawn by hand. It was my introduction to abstract landscapes, where simplicity meets form and expression.
