| Three years ago, on a 2-week trip to Montana and Wyoming, as Wendy and I were traveling through Yellowstone National Park, we treated to an early morning encounter with a couple wolves walking the road in the dark. With populations thriving, since the reintroduction almost thirty years ago, we were hoping to catch a glimpse of at least one wolf on our trip, even if it was a great distance away. Here were two magnificent wolves walking the road less than a hundred feet from our car. And.... just as quick as they appeared, they turned towards the forest and were gone. |
