Dirt Bag
"There's a little good in everyone,"
I say through a tense, forced smile,
Ignoring the guy who's rode my bumper
for well more than half a mile.
He's honked pretty freaking loudly,
And he just revved up his truck,
He's gesturing quite wildly,
I think he's big mad as f***.
But I just mind my own business,
My foot pressed calmly on the gas,
Doing the bestest I absolutely can,
Not to brake check his bully a$...
"Because there's a little good in everyone..."
I think, (my mind reaching really far),
"Three dirt bags in my trunk for planting,
And the one flipping me off in my car."
