Day 18 - Mojito
This cocktail was originally created at the Havana Club in Cuba. The mojito for me marks the start of summer or whenever I can pluck the first mint leaves from the garden. I've had some of the best mojitos by my pool, but also in Cuba where they add bitters. Surprisingly, The Tunnel Bar in San Francisco also makes my top ten list!
Ingredients - Add half of a lime, simple syrup, and a bit of mint to a glass and gently muddle. Add ice, rum (amount is up to you) and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime slice and sprig of mint.
