Band Aid

There was an impromtu parade.

It was the second morning of our two day outdoor art show.

And I could hear them long before I saw them, a full marching band.

The show's prize and judging committee in line.

And here they came, headed right towards me... the drummer setting both tempo and pace with his fluid beat.

I smiled. Was I about to win my first ever art show award?

As the band got closer to me and stopped right in front of my tent, I audibly gasped... before I saw the judge committee head towards my neighbor's tent.

Turns out they just wanted the band out of the way of my neighbor's winning booth for pictures.

So I hung out with the band, the drummer, and the baton twirlers... we talked puns. I got this very painting idea from hanging out with the band...

Anywho...

Better luck next time.
